Frequently Asked Questions

Please Contact us with any additional questions you might have.

The entire weekend costs just $40 for EVERY person, REGARDLESS of age, title, or position.  This is a flat fee, whether you stay 1 day or the entire weekend!  This simply reimburses those that organize the weekend for you.  We accept CASH ONLY at the gate and no-refunds will be issued.

This entitles you to: a campsite, 2 beer busts, 1 dinner, 2 breakfasts, Progressive Kocktail Party, ALL activities, the show, and contests!

Toilets and Showers

There are vault toilets in the campground.  Toilet paper will be provided.  Many people bring their own toilet paper and some rent their own port-o-potty for personal use.  Plan accordingly or use the vault toilets.  There are no showers on site.

Usually cool in the morning, warm in the afternoon, and COLD at night.  There will be a fire at the main sites.  For your own sites, firewood is not provided, but there is usually enough debris around camp to gather.  It rarely rains, but it is September, and it can happen.  Be prepared!

Check the 7-day forecast for the area.

We are wary, but we do allow pets.  THEY MUST BE ON A LEASH AND IN YOUR CONTROL AT ALL TIMES!  If they are the slightest bit aggressive or bard a lot, LEAVE THEM AT HOME!  You will be asked to take your pet home immediately, if your pet is found to be a nuisance or a danger to others.

Kampout is clearly and adult event.  No persons under the age of 18 are allowed at Kampout.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  No person under 21 shall consume alcholic beverages.  IDs will be checked at the gate.

RVs and Trailers

RV's and trailers are allowed, however space is limited and is on a "first-come, first-served" basis.

What to Bring

Here are just a few recommendations:

  • Accommodations (tent, trailer, RV, camper, etc.)
  • Food for meals other than those provided by the Kampout Committee.  Also if you have special diet,  you may want to bring your own options incase the Committee provided meals do not fit within your dietary needs.
  • Drinking water (the nearby creek water is not potable)
  • Warm bedding
  • Flashlight and/or lanterns
  • BYOB and ice
  • Camping chairs that are easily transported from your site to main camp and back
